Jo Milne-Rowe, Business Development Manager bei Codelocks, wurde zum neuen nationalen Vorsitzenden der Institut der Architektureisenwarenhändler (IAI). Die Ernennung wurde auf der Jahreshauptversammlung des IAI am 28. April im Copthorne Hotel, Dudley, bestätigt.
Jo kam 2016 zu Codelocks und ist seit über 20 Jahren in der Branche tätig. Sie bringt einen qualifizierten Hintergrund in den Bereichen Baubeschläge, mechanische Sicherheit und elektronische Zugangskontrolle mit. Sie wird die zweite weibliche Vorsitzende in der Geschichte der IAI sein. In Verbindung mit ihrer derzeitigen Funktion bei Codelocks war Jo bereits stellvertretende Vorsitzende der IAI. Davor war sie Vorsitzende für die Region Südost. Ihre Erfahrung kommt ihr als Nachfolgerin von Mario Del-Signore sehr zugute.
Zu ihrer Ernennung sagte Jo:
“I hope that as chair of the Institute, I can play a role in changing preconceptions about the industry and encourage the next generation of talent to seek a career in our ever-changing sector.
This is a forward-looking organisation, committed to professional standards and raising the profile of Registered Architectural Ironmongers. The Institute is its members, and I want the members to know that I’m here to listen to their thoughts and ideas for taking the IAI forward.”

Mario Del-Signore, der scheidende Vorsitzende des IAI, erklärte:

I have no doubts that she will continue to help to take the Institute from strength to strength.”
