Recreation Industry News: Codelocks Launches Gate and Fence Lock Boxes

Codelocks Inc., a leading access control company that designs and distributes innovative, keyless door locks and access solutions, announces its new all-inclusive Gate Box Kits.

The just-released kits contain all components – from one source – needed for an easy and effective gate and fence installation, including lock, latch and accompanying lock box. The Gate Box Kits can include one of the following: a mechanical lock, an electronic lock or a smart lock found in Codelocks’ long-established CL Series.

“Now that we added lock boxes to our complete range of locking products, we can provide our customers with a more economical solution that results in even greater controlled access for gates and fences,” said Matt Welty, Vice President, Americas at Codelocks. “Instead of buying various components from separate distributors, we are making it easier and more accessible for our customers to experience a complete installation with one kit.”

Each lock has different benefits, including options such as the ability for codes to be changed without removal from the door or disassembly, remote code changes and access management, and allowing multiple codes to be set. The stainless-steel buttons eliminate problems from button wear associated with user code deciphering. The majority of the Gate Box Kits include Codelocks’ locks that can be installed back-to-back, which needs a code to be entered before an individual can go through the gate in either direction.

Codelocks now offers two new optional finishes for its locks. First, Clean by Codelocks can be applied to any gate or fence lock and utilizes a process called photocatalytic oxidation. The clear coating combats COVID-19 and can reduce bacterial growth by 99.96%, providing an additional measure of protection over sanitization. Second, select locks are available with Codelocks’ heavy duty marine grade coating that is specially enhanced to resists exposure to salt spray and moisture, helping to prevent damage caused by corrosion in outdoor and maritime environments.
