Many sports clubs boast state-of-the-art facilities, but it can be difficult to ensure members are able to make the most of the spaces on offer. This was the challenge facing international tennis organisation, TieSports, which wanted to offer its members an easy way to get out onto the courts and enjoying a game.
With a number of sports clubs across Portugal and Belgium, TieSports is set to expand its business over the next few years. As part of its drive to provide members with high quality facilities, TieSports wanted to overhaul its booking and payment system to make its tennis courts more accessible to players. However, it wasn’t always possible to have staff on site to manage the bookings, process the payments and ensure the courts were lit up and ready for play.
TieSports sought a solution that could:
• enable members to book and pay for tennis courts via a mobile app
• allow members to access the courts when staff are not on-site
• provide an automated system to turn court floodlights on and off.
TieSports approached Codelocks for a keyless access control solution so it could streamline its booking system experience for members – allowing them to book, pay for and access tennis courts easily using an app.

Club members have the flexibility to secure a tennis court and make a payment whenever they choose, knowing it will be lit up and ready for play. There is no need to have staff available to arrange bookings, provide access or organise lighting. As a result, TieSports have been able to extend their rental period and generate more income without employing more staff.
