Training for Estates and Facilities Managers
We understand that hospitals are busy places; as well as patients and staff moving around, large groups of transient visitors are also in and out all day long, and the activity continues on a 24/7 basis. We also understand that this places huge demands on you to supply the correct access control product and to maintain it. Access control acts as a red light and deters unauthorised entry in areas that need to be kept off limits to the public.
The issue with keys
Key management can be a major concern as keys get lost or stolen. The main advantage of push-button locks is that they negate the need to use keys.
We work with estates and facility departments all over the UK and Codelocks is committed to helping Estates and Facilities Managers provide an efficient, low maintenance, low cost yet effective solutions to control access to all areas of hospitals. Hospital buildings have complex access control needs. The key to implementing successful access control is to balance cost and function, achieving a safe and secure environment that doesn’t impede on the ability of people inside the building to do their jobs.
Codelocks have developed a FREE training programme designed for estates, facilities managers and service engineers.
Built around a practical hands on sessions, the 2.5 hour course will take the attendees through the pros and cons of the various mechanical and electronic digital lock products available.
With advice on how, why, where and what products should be selected as new or retrofit applications, the course aims to help attendees select the most appropriate access control solutions, ways of saving time and money on the day-to-day control, and maintenance of stand alone access in healthcare facilities.
